What: Produce and deliver a parade float and signage for Minus18 at the 2023 Worldpride Mardi Gras Parade in Sydney. Studio Common (my business) was asked by Minus18 and Bonds to produce and drive a show-stopping float at Sydney's Mardi Gras Parade at Worldpride 2023. Our contribution to the project was as designers, producers and contractors managers. Starting with a concept sketch from the client, we developed a series of drawings and designs of the float and ancillary artwork. We collaborated with local AV, signage and engineering companies to produce and install the float. Our team drove down Oxford Street with a crowd matching behind holding handheld signs and custom t-shirts.
